I am a fan of the late Anita Roddick. The late founder of The Body Shop, was a real eco-trend setter.

Believing that there should be a store out there that while taking care of us petty humans, also chose to take care of the environment (animals included). Starting Body Shop in a humble store in the UK, this activist-entrepreneur believes that “campaigning and good business is also about putting forward solutions, not just opposing destructive practices or human rights abuses.”

And I fully agree with that. One can complain and also put out awarenesses there, but in the end, what we really want are answers to how we can solve the issues we are with. Be they business ones or social ones.

A Pioneer for the green cause, she was an inspiration to many out there, and hopefully more businesses and people like her shall flourish.
