Google Marketing Brief at Hilton
I just got back from KL Hilton and Praise The Lord, no jam!
Heh, and this is how they do checking at the entrance of the parking lot, which I found rather interesting. Not only is there a barricade but you ahve two guards to check the cars as they go into the parking space to Hilton and La Meridian. I’ll be writing a different post on the “G-Talk” later on Jacozzi.
What was I there for – Google Marketing Brief. It was basically Google telling marketers what are the available products out there, that can be very useful and helpful to agencies and other budding businesses. Well I’m an avid Google fan. My email is gmail, my album is mostly all on Picasa, I do use their Analytics…etc…Yes I’m a Google “Maximizer”! lol.
The talk was given by Jayesh Easwaramony(Frost and Sullivan Minion), Lori Sobel (Google Minion) and Derek Callow (Google Minion). Derek, whom I had already met at the Singapore Global Brand Forum. Heheh sorry for the minion titles, but hey I’m a Google – user Minion lol.
Google at the start.
Jayesh being asked a question by another Google member.
Lori with a background of her a preso, which I have seen a good many times in other presentations.
Derek just before his presso.
Anyway the talk was rather interesting, though I think there could have been more. As a person that uses their products, it is always great to more so see what else can be done with their products, rather then just them telling me straight up what they have. Cause, for my case anyway, I already know the products available and yes while there is the “manual” online to read and tell me how to use it….
Google… it’s about the users experience like you say….so have pity on some of those out there, who really do not have the luxury to read the fine print. But share with us further on how we can further utilize the tool, how we can experiment with it, which was why I do strongly suggest workshops for exiting and possibly new users, if you want more people to know about the products. It’s almost in a way like Adobe products. You won’t know how good it is until you are thoroughly familiar with them.
To some extent you can call me lazy for not wanting to read, but from a general P.O.V, aren’t most people?? Forgive me for being bras. But for what its worth… I still love Google
See my smile!
