Izzi, Broadband Competition Up and Coming in KL

I saw this the other day while I was at Low Yat. I think it’s great that they are really trying to up the market and provide different services for us broadband users. Here we have IZZI which is suppose to be the first 4G broadband service in KL. Sounds pretty cool and even cooler is their service plan. If you don’t like it in 6 months to even after a year, they will take back the service with REFUND. Sorry I don’t have the stats for this.. but go to their site , Izzi. 21082007460_resize.jpg And here’s where they cover… so sigh… It doesn’t cover my area. Click to view bigger picture What I can’s stand though, is that when they offer the service. They had better keep updating it, if not upgrading it. Like now I’m currently on Maxis, but sad to say after the first period, which was a trial. The connection was great no lag whatso ever. Then when i went on into their full package, meaning i pay RM88 which is actually RM115 or so a month because of modem rental and service charge. The stupid connection DROPPED! Sigh, Malaysia, Malaysia. Or more so you companies…. when are you going to learn that you can’t just offer a service and have no upkeep. But I’ll give them, that at least their service centre at Menara Maxis, KLCC was rather impressive or more so informative and helpful. So yeah servic centres, you get my kudos. Your broadband…. I have yet to say, till I get the new modem which is what was recommended.

    I'm using Izzi, just bought the package 2 week ago. The connection are great, 99% connectivity most of the time. But the speed varies from time to time. I have compare download speed between Izzi and Streamyx and they are equally good. But i think Izzi can be improvise more.

    Hi there, I was using Streamyx 2mb and now I changed to Izzi and to be honest it was the biggest mistake of my life cause the guys promised me fast connection and all I get is 4kb dl speed can you believe that? Im sure cave men used to download faster than this.. and when I call their "customer service" they tell me to file a complain, Ive been doing this for 3 months now untiLL im losing hope now

    Ouch, real sorry to hear that wolf. Can you change back to streamyx? As much as we don't like to say it, but streamyx is the most stable out of the lot cause it's been around for so long and most importantly it's wired up. Unlike the rest of the connections which are mostly wireless. Hope you solve your issues soon.
