Chipster Heaven

*****Warning: This is incredibly lame!! I just wanted to have some fun :P *****
After three good days of no blogging, I shall reopen with my story on how I have been sleeping of late. Lately I have been sleeping quite late and I would end up waking up a lot in the middle of the night. I would wake up at odd hours like 3 or 4a.m. and then I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep. Tell me know how is it that a girl can get her beauty sleep, if she keeps waking up in the middle of the night??? That was until I had one particular dream that ended all that torturous hours of waking up in the middle of the night. I was sleeping in my room, this was around 11 plus at night.

First Sleep

I found myself in an odd and very misty dimension…I mean what the heck? Pink mist? But they seemed to fluffy to be mist. Which led me to the conclusion they were soft pinkish white fluffy clouds.. oooohh.

Heaven or Not

I walked around a bit, till I came across this humongous gate standing in front of me. The gate was splashed in all it’s golden splendor. For a minute I really thought that I had died and had reached the pearly gates a bit earlier than expected. That was when I took a good look at what was the symbol placed in the middle of golden gate. It was the Chipster symbol!

Ohhhh… when the gates opened before me. I couldn’t believe my very swollen-from-lack-of-sleep eyes. It really was heaven. Chipster heaven that is. Popping up from the cloudy ground, were Chipsters located left and right. There Chipsters of every flavour. Delicious original Chipster, the so sourlicious Sour Cream Chipster and ooh so Spicy Chipster. They were everywhere.

Needless to say I couldn’t control myself and grabbed an armful, holding it close to my chest.

Then I saw a flash of light up in the sky. Which made me drop all the Chipsters in my arms. Yeah.. i dropped them!! But whatever it was… It was worth the dropping of those precious Chipsters.. Ooo..ooo… My precious!!!

My Surprise

I couldn’t believe what I saw! It was the biggest Chipster Original packet. It was the huge CHIP!! Drool wouldn’t stop, nothing could stop me, I wanted that CHIPSTER!

There i was getting closer and closer….And that was when I felt this certain tugging! Oh NO… it meant that was being pulled back… Crap is it one of the waking up in the middle of the night sessions again!!???? Noooo…. at least let me have the chipster first!!!! The big HUGE CHIPSTER!!!!

I was so close Just a bitttttttttttttt more!!!!!! Sigh….. Sad to say, it was not to be…. I woke up!!!!!!! Nooooo…. And I couldn’t go back to sleep….

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I want my CHIPSTER!!! That was until, I heard a nice thump on my head….

It actually hurt too…. (ok maybe not that bad… but still it bonked me on me head) OOoooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhh Happy happy JOY JOY! A chipster fell down from the sky!!!

Yay me! I’ve got Chipster!

See there’s a reason why we are allowed to dream. After eating the whole huge packet myself. I had a really nice snooze, yeap you heard it, i was able to go back to sleep! Sooo yeah….. I DO SLEEP BETTER WITH CHIPSTERS! My siblings and Mister G would tell me as I doze off to sleep i actually have a subtle smile on my face….extreme peace, serenity and ultimate bliss…Although I can’t say they found me sleeping with a salty chip in my mouth all that appealing. But who cares! I get to sleep!!

Note: I took too long to even get this thing up because I was too busy feeding my face with! Dang it. Sigh…. Nuffnang! I gained weight and sacrificed not getting a kiss goodnight because of the chip in my mouth! So gimme my TICKET! Bwahahahaha.. And as for what I’m wearing? I guess it’d be the pineapple top I have on in Chipster Heaven and the pants…. :P Can’t wait to see everyone again.

Disheartened

It is just one of those days, where I don’t know what to make of things. It’s 12.37 and I’m tired. But what has got me even more tired, is that I’m disheartened. Why? Because I keep hearing about negative about something, which i’m trying so hard to fight for, I’m trying to get involved and get myself out there as much as I can in what I hope to do. And it just really breaks my heart when people tell me that I can’t or that it is not worth it. More so I would hear this from the people around me, those that are closest to me. And it really just annoys me at first, but after a while, i’ll get upset over it. In my heart, at some point maybe I want to be in denial and just have some faith that what I dream for can someday be a reality. That there is a reason why people fight for certain things in life and it doesn’t matter how painful it or even how ridiculous it is. But it’s what they wish to go for. I’m debating here between passion and career. Really why work all the time, if it is something you don’t like. Why even bother? And so what if the passion you yearn for, makes one come home late at night, makes one have to spend countless hours waiting, or makes one just spend hours of preparation. I’m just disheartened about how opportunities just come by so slowly.

The 54k Billboard Proposal

Is it every girls dream to really want to have a beautiful wedding? Or in this sense an expensive wedding? ok maybe lets not go to the wedding yet, lets just talk about the proposal. This is an old piece of news, but finally i actually saw it with my own eyes, the crazy proposal made by this young man, David Tan to a girl named Kelly Tan E Li.

This is the old billboard behind the newly engaged couple. Read about it here. The billboard was placed along the LDP highway, but what is different about it, now is if you look closesly. Someone is possibly sponsoring the boy who did this proposal.

Love Diamond has now placed themselves there hahaha for promotion. Now not only is he the Ad exec known for a billboard proposal, by the looks of it, he’s also now this Love Diamond spokersperson… not bad :P Personally it is very sweet, but I don’t believe for a moment that he can afford to get 40k for that billboard proposal. Already the pain of 15k on the ring is enough damage to last a lifetime. Imagine this, a billboard which people pay thousands and close to millions for, to advertise their product, would not give up even a spot for others to put up other adverts, let alone a proposal! So i think the boy has got to be in kahoots with some big shot somewhere down town. Meaning he knows someone of the someone, or possibly his family owns that billboard. It is sweet, but a waste of many if he really did put a penny into it.

Political Pollution

Literally. I know that one has to do all they can for their campaigns, but I think this is really overwhelming. This is the drive back to my area at willyou take a look at the highway and what is plastered all over the place? On every single piller, under the bridge, all small bits of grass that is left and on every tree.

Posters, banners…my gosh They are just sprayed everywhere and in my very honest opinion it looks like an extreme mess. The least they could is to put up their posters properly. Why simply put. Do they actually think that as long as their sign is seen people will vote for them? Seeing an advert or a poster doesn’t mean you will buy their product, the most it’ll do is let the image of your product stay in your head for a bit a picture will not make the individual convert from a viewer to a consumer. Same goes with political campaigns. The political standpoints would be the selling point and the campaign will be successful in getting votes if they have some good solid visions that could benefit everyone and the country as a whole. So seeing tour different parties spraying all sorts of print material in the area, doesn’t exactly make me want to shout whoopee.

Rather all this had made the area look terrible. You see that pole? My gosh it is bending down so much to the point it could get into the way of a car. And that poster.. it’s not even placed properly, it is bent and twisted beyond recognition…. In fact there is one flag pole that is bent in a very dangerous manner, a car could really knock into it, if it’s placed back upright, don’t have a picture of that though. Sigh…

My Website Headache

I’ve had one heck of a week, there was so much of drama here and there but the one drama I want and have to rant about is the transfer of my site to a new webhost provider… Thus I shall begin. Already bad enough that I haven’t been blogging much for the past two days.. then this happens.. I was originally with Shinjiru.com as my webhost provider because that was a recommendation which I got from a friend. I went for it mostly because it had budget and best bargain for the specs that was sufficient for a ‘personal’ blog. The pricing they had then was around RM120 for a year, for 2GB worth of space and some other specs which i don’t remember, but it obviously had php 5 and mysql. Both which extremely necessary for wordpress. So yeah i went ahead and bought that along with RM38 for aronil.com domain. Great then I decided to look around for another webhosting provider to try something different. My gosh have I know learned the hard way. If some of you have visited, aronil.com site was down for a good day called Saturday because the transfer of the domain from the old host to the new one was in progress. I am now using WebhostingBuzz. And what really sold me was because of 3 things:
  1. the person who recommended it to me – Paul Tan (cause he is using it too and he’s got good some good impressions of it)
  2. the price is nearly the same as Exabytes (which was my alternative at first). I went for the two year package so i pay RM329 – about that-
  3. plus the fact that it is carbon neutral. Meaning that the place where their physical servers are is friendly to the environment. Always wanted that so yay
While all that is fine and dandy. I had such a headache with the transfer process. Mostly because this is my first time doing it. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t know how to to do anything. Basically I was in no control whatsoever. I did tell Shinjiru that I wanted to change to my new server and required them to release my domain and state the new ipserver. Ok cool done in a matter of hours. Bad thing… WebhostingBuzz kept directing me to their default site.

Sigh so my traffic went down to zero, I’m so sorry for the people who tried to access but to no avail. Not to mention that the backup I had done with wordpress had been corrupted meaning all my posts.. with it’s comments.. pictures and what not…. all gone. Sigh… The good thing though… I want to give my thanks to Nicholas of InvertedN and Abinesh of Delirium. Nick helped me settle the redirection problem of my domain on my confounded cpanel and Abi gave me a great idea asking whether I subscribe to my own rss. I do. and why? Because all my posts are there!!! Brilliant. Meaning that all my post can be placed back here, although I would have to manually put up each and everyone of them again along with their comments and pictures… oh goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh All the same, these two were a great help and I give them full credit for anything going well now… and also to Mister G. He’s going to help me put up the post tomorrow.. One by one.. Ouch!!! That said though, I will say that Shinjiru is really fast with their replies. I sent them my problematic emails at around 12am, like just, and they replied me 2 hours later = 2a.m. I’m impressed! So thanks to Shinjiru for being my first webhost but I wanna try something else for a bit. Who knows I may use them again :) They do offer the best prices. I can’t make any comments on my new provider yet as i just transferred to them. But they are equally just as prompt. So lesson is.. please please please, backup all your data. make sure it’s uncorrupted and……….never ever change to another webhosting provider unless you really need to. To do it for fun is just not worth the headache.
