I love parties and i love it even more when it’s after a hard working day. Where we can let loose and really just party on wild. It gets even wilder when you have a bunch of estranged actors who just love to play a fool and have major fun as you shall see in the following posts. The first party I’m going to mention is the party the Ismail: The Last Days cast members were invited to at the real Ismail’s house. We were invited by his son Tawfik (thank youuuuuuuu Tawfikkkk!!!) and boy oh boy do they sure know how to throw a party. Reason for the party is because the actual house where Tun Dr Ismail resided at, was to be sold… a bit sad actually cause it’s a really beautiful house. Originally some of us where a tad tired especially for those of us who work during the day only to start work again at night – even if it is an entirely different field. But all the same, the shifting of jobs can take it’s toll on you. But once we stepped into the party though… look out peeps!! We go nuts.. and I mean NUTS NUTS NUTS! The pictures with no watermarking goes to Fang. Thanks for taking them babe

Us at the main entrance of the house. The white shimmery light was an accident effect which happened due to my camera fogging up. It’s kinda cool actually. Although one of the cast members mentioned that it looked kinda spooky. :P

Walking in the place was filled with old black and white sepia looking pictures of Tun Dr Ismail and his wife Neno.

From the top you would think it’s like any normal house but it is constructed beautifully where as you go on downwards the house suddenly gets enormous and it looks like a completely different place. It was like a hidden lagoon.

This is the inside of the house. Lovely isn’t it. They had turned most of the swimming pool into another section, so that there was more room for people to manovoure. I wish i had taken a pic of the buffet spread cause i have to say that was a very good food served. They had a mixture of italian, burgers, salads, malay food, and a delicious desert section… I’m getting all drooly thinking about it. lol

On top of that not only was the food and scenery great. The Deejay and live band was awesome!

We were practically boogying all the way as you can see. Which resulted in us getting all sweaty.

Here

and here – please don’t ask me what the lady in the yellow shirt is opening her mouth to lol.

and here

After all that there has to be some crazy photos taken. It’s all in good fun :P My gosh i look like I just came out of either a sauna or some 100km race lol.

Us girls just had to play a fool with this concept. We all jumped on to the man who was playing Ismail – Malik Taufiq… can ya blame us??? :P We tried to surprise but that kinda backfired looking at his steamed face lol. In this pic is me, Min Lie and the lady on his lap is Kerry-Ann.

Like I said… we went nuts.. There’s Tony right there in the middle between me and guess who. And we always seem to be the two that is like the two ummm.. statues for people to pose with hahaha.

Fang obviously wanted one pic like that too. That’s Fang right smack in the middle and she’s the one responsible for the other great shots here.

Ok ok.. normal shot now. Me with Ismail played by Malik Taufiq, and Neno played by the amazing Tisha Z, who is a serious entertaining person to be with. She’s got too much energy it’s almost hard to keep up with her.. hahaha

Here I am with the only people from the orchestra. Elain, Aaron and Kevin. That person blowing a kiss…. hai… dunned to say already la.. You all know who it is. :P I like the form of this pic.. can you see it like a sweep going upward?

Here is Min Li and I with Tun Dr Ismail’s son Tawfik. Pucker up people. Can ya see what I mean by seriously sweating???

The night was a real blast and for those of didn’t get to go.. well there is always the cast party. But it was loads of fun!!!

Not too long ago I received an email from my blogging community friends, DGMB and he had shared with us an email that reminded us of what our childhood memories were like. We are all from different schools, different group of friends but one thing remained consistent that they were just certain things in life that was ‘of our time’. It brought back some of the great memories we had growing up. I’ll just share some of the fond objects that made up my childhood. Lets start from the days of standard one. I remember when there were all these ridiculous looking fruit rubbers which were so cute to have but were entirely useless in terms of usability. I mean they were really adorable but they couldn’t rub your pencil markings off at all. In fact they just

Then there was the other type of rubbers which i shall just name as the- flags-of- the-world rubbers. These weren’t too bad to use and what was fun was how as kids we made use of them to play the rubber sparring game. Where you tip over one end of the rubber watch it tumble and see if it can land on another opponents rubber. That was fun hahah to play that in the middle of breaks or when there wasn’t a teacher around. I remember the boys in my class would cut up their rubbers and make them into little tiny particles…. till this day i still have no idea why they did it.

At home, some of us had this little toy calledĀ  Western Bar. Hahaha i remember i had this and you were suppose to kill of the bandit that walked into the bar. I never really won… so sad.

In those days, there were all sorts of candy. The one at the bottom wasn’t my favourite but they had a interesting ads. lol I remember when i would watch TV, their ads would pop up in between shows and they’ll trying coaxing you to buy the sweets, because there was a toy inside the candy box. Surprise!!

Ahh the Old Maid, Donkey and Happy Family. Card games of the old days… I don’t really rememberĀ  how to play them, and I don’t think I’ve seen them in stores anymore. But i could be mistaken. Old Maid i think had to with something like where you keep shifting cards with your friends and whoever got the old maid last in their hand lost… Ok i won’t try remembering what donkey and happy family were like cause I’ll probably mess up the rules of the game. lol

It was a nice trip back down memory lane. :)

I am not a FLIRT! Just want to make that clear first. But i found this an interesting game online. As some of you may know, Ismail: The Last Days musical requires me to doll up a fair bit. I needed a strong hairspray that could hold my do up and I found my mom’s V05 mega hold spray. I found that it did the trick very well and it didn’t leave my head all sticky unlike the wax i was originally using. I decided to have a bit of fun and do a search on more hair products. Then I stumbled upon this site. victory-hair Hahaha this sure made me laugh. You are basically suppose to go flirting with some random people who just enter the game and then whoever that can out flirt another wins. You will have a judge that will see whether your ‘flirt’ is good enough of better than the other person. If the other person can’t flirt as well you win the game. Check it out at Extreme Style by VO5 So what exactly is Victory Hair? I’d put it this way, victory hair is before two people meet, the hairs that they have prepared for the little outing begins a tad bit dull. But the minute they meet with one another, sparks fly between one another. The two of them don’t even speak but they flirt it out with their hair. The girl will twirl, flick and shake her big head of hair. The guy on the other hand, will smooth back his hair and give a hint of his Presley sideburns.

Aha.. and the sparring sets off… The first one who makes a move towards the other will be considered the loser and the one who has the person walking towards them, is the winner. That person waiting for the person walking has got Victory Hair.

So lame!!! I know.. hahhaa

Whatever it is this game is pretty funny. Extreme Style by VO5 doesn’t test you completely with your flirtation skills but it sure gives you one heck of an imagination for the flair of hair. You tell me know whether you can do better in the flirting game Ultimate Flirting Championship. Post?slot_id=18466&url=http%3a%2f%2fsocialspark
Well Aronil.com has finally gotten a facelift. It took me a while to get a template which I could tweak much, but that’s not the purpose of my post for now. See part of the new theme, will cause me to use the custom fields section which is a part i usually avoid due to sheer laziness. But i decided to get cracking at it as it would be a lot more visually easier and faster to load up on the site. At least I hope so. Originally I had inserted a section of coding which I got from Webdesigner Wall on how to place custom images in your posts. Which worked brilliantly, however there was a slight problem, I didn’t know how to adjust where my images would be aligned. Great new prob eh. That was until I googled this “customising images from custom fields” and it brought me to this Scribu.net. What Scribu has done is create a wordpress plugin to make eaisier for people like me or complete noobies with wordpress to place images for your custom field. It works like such.

customimage

This is what it looks like when you write a new post. You will find it at the bottom after activating it.

customimage2

You can do some further tweaking. But I haven’t bothered here cause I’m quite happy with whatever it is set to at default. So go give it a try out.
