While blog hopping for a bit online on a rainy Saturday morning. I decided to check up on some gadget blog. A favourite past time of mine is to go around seeing what is the latest bit of technolog to tickle my fancy. So after just randomly going through some sites, I landed on a site that caught me eye.
The website is called My Hybrid World and it talks about anything that is hybrid. Hybrid in the sense it’s combo of two things. Makes you think about it for a bit actually. The only thing that i always associated as hybrid were the hybrid cars, cause well you know, it uses two sources of power to propel it mainly either fuel or electronic. That’s pretty much what this site is about. Anything that encompasses two things – think of it like a site that gives you content on anything that has a 2 in 1 attribute.

The post I found amusing was regarding a watch that allows you to watch videos on it. It’s the kinda watch that you would only find in some far out sci-fi. You can check it out here. The video watching watch lol.

It then got me browsing the rest of the website. The writer of this site apparently goes by the name Joe and he updates every once in a while. Sharing with us his latest findings. I personally like the gadget hybrids but there are a bunch of interesting games too that makes me wanna try it out. lol  And i found this a funny instrument to play too. Imagine playing a guitar like these two. Go and read it here at Hybridz World. “If you don’t like my music… I’ll Kill you!!” bwhahahaa sick haha.

Browsing the rest of the site, I noticed there was some flashing animation on the right panel. Being a curious person I click on it and it brought me to some sort of ad. Gee now i know what the whole deal on the hybrid stuff is about hehe. Don’t let me spoil it for you.  Head on to My Hybridz World to find out what is the real deal on creating a blog that talks about weird looking inventions and games.  Remember to click on the sidebar to find out the mystery of it!! Now other than that lets see what other things out there that is hybrid?
Ever since I saw this during my trip to Singapore, I’ve been looking high and low for this little contraption. I know it’s nothing to really shout about but I like things that provide convenience for me. Who doesn’t, eh? So finally finding it and using it, has given me a whole new view at doing a mundane, daily routine.   Brushing my teeth. Yeah it’s such a joy now to take up a toothbrush and squeeze out the toothpaste. I found this while I was searching for a birthday gift. And chanced upon a little store in Great Eastern Mall, that sold a bunch of interesting stuff. I got it for aroun RM12, not too bad.  I mean just look at it!

toothpaste_2

You roll it up and it helps you to squeeze every single bit of the toothpaste out of the container. Never again will i waste anymore toothepaste. Never again, will I have to squeeze it all againg from the bottom all the way to the top, just to have a bit of the paste peaking out. All you have to do.. is rooOoOOOLLLlll… Roll Roll Roll Your Paste, I can make you smile, With a taste so mild… anyday.. Yes I’m thoroughly bored, where I start making my own songs according to the song “Dream”.   But it’s a little wonder. See how thin my paste is now?

And i get to hang it neatly away from the wet toothbrushes on my wall. Genius!

Yesterday was Disney reminiscence day. And that was a lot of fun. Would be great to hear what are other’s peoples thoughts on their favourite Disney movie. Do you remember the days when Saturday was the day to relax, have fun, laze about with either a bowl of your favourite cereal or junk food. Then enjoy that by turning on the morning tube to catch your favourite cartoons. Yeah I remember doing just that, and I remember I would need to tape them because my saturday mornings required me to drag myself to ballet classes. I miss those simple 2d cartoon days. Sure the animations have improved, but in those days the stories were simple. You knew the stark contrast between the good guy and the bad guy. Furthermore, they didn’t try to be smart. I find that the cartoons of the current generation now, tend to be a lot smarter or they try to be. Not so straight forward anymore.  Anyway, today my friend played me a song from his phone. Can you recall where these lyrics come from..

Thunder..

Thunder..

Thunder..

Thunder cats ho!!!!

Hahaha, yeah so today it’s looking at the TV Shows of the 80s. I’m going to show you a video and let’s see if you can guess the name of each clip. Altogether I think there are about 21 cartoons. So let’s see whether you could guess as many as I did hehe. Even the background music is that of the 80s by Bonnie Clyde, hehe.

Then I found an even cooler video that shows 56 cartoons that we remember very well, but just forgot because of the age of time. lol. Check out this one. The background music is from Transformers the movie, which came out last year, but it is still a kick ass song.

Once upon a time in a far away land, there lived a girl who needed to look at some characters for a role that she was playing. She needed to find a girl that had the attitude of a rebel, a bit of a troublemaker and still feminine at the same time. Think Megara from Hercules and Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. Hehehe I love watching Disney movies and they give a lot of inspiration. I went typing out Jasmine on Youtube. This made me reminisce about some of my favourite disney cartoons. I really enjoyed the Disney shows when I was a kid, they were always fun to watch, fun to sing a long too and pretend to act out with. I also found the drawings a lot of fun. I think my first Disney movie ever had to be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. If I were to list out my favourite Top Disney Movies they would be in this order. In no particular order. I say that Because I realised that I like too many of them :)

Aladdin

How can one not love Aladdin. The Genie was always my favourite character and as a kid I thoroughly enjoyed watching Aladdin, make his way from adventure after adventure along with his friends. Not too mention the love of his life, Jasmine. Carpet was always a joy to watch and so was Iago- hahaa that parrot always ‘cracked’ me up.

aladdin

Beauty And The Beast

This was my first Disney movie in the cinema which I viewed with my classmates back in 1991. Hehehe that was a real treat, since the school brought us there. Then all girls who would want to play Belle. My first primary school, did a school concert ba son Beauty and the Beast.. and I got to play the three sily flamboyant and bimbostic girls that were after Gaston  haha. The candlestick Lumiere was my favourite, especially when he sang ‘Be Our Guest’

The Little Mermaid

Ahhhh this bring fon memories, to the days when i used to pretend to be a mermaid by the pool at one of the recreational clubs. I wasn’t alone by the way, my friends were just as lame haha.

Finding Nemo

This movie was just too funny. You gotta love Ellen Degeneres in that movie as Doby. Such an oxymoron haha but a lovable character too.

Hercules

This was not that a fantastic movie, but I’ll add it to the list anyway. Danny Devito as the coach is classic and the singing muses were seriously fun to watch. My favourite scene which i still remember till today in Herc was the part, all the Titans were going after Zeus.. Only to have Hades tell them. ‘Harlo, you are going in the wrong way!’. LOL

hercules

The Emperor’s New Groove

This movie will forever and ever crack me up. The evil sorceress who turned herself into a kitten by accident was uber funny.. ‘ I’ll take this potion and I’ll Kill Youuuuu’ . David Spade is the man, man!

Bedknobs And Broomsticks

This movie may not be a complete animation, but nevertheless, it is definitely in my favourite category. Fun and entertaining. The movie takes you on a wild adventure around the world – in a way – by using a bed as transport. Talk about a very comfortable way to travel all over the place. I want a pillow and instant leg room! Angela Lansbury and David Tomlison were fantastic as always in these ‘musical’ like films. Between their dancing and singing I don’t know which made me remember the movie for it’s wonderful silliness back then.

Ok there are too many for me to keep explaining. I’ve given 7 on top with images. So here are the rest of the other movies in my list. 8. The Incredibles 9. The Hunchback of Notre Dame 10. The Black Cauldron 11. The Lion King 12. Pocahuntas 13.Gargoyles: The Movie – The Heroes Awaken 14. Ducktales: The Movie – Treasure of the Lost Lamp 15. But the one movie I absolutely love of all time from them “PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN“!! How can i not! Hands down to that movie. I’m not going to rant on and on regarding how much I love this movie. Because I actually say how can you not be in love with this movie!

piratesofthecaribbeanwallpaper800

I have tons many more, but that would make the list endless. So while going through all that, you know how they have board games for each of these movies. You should try the Disney Bingo DVD game by ScreenLife. The game will test your memory on most of the Disney movies
This game offers a high-tech twist on an old favorite. Disney Bingo lets kids learn numbers, colors, and matching skills with their favorite Disney characters and movie clips. Match the numbers on the board to the ones given by the on-screen caller.
You can try getting this either from Amazon.com or Drugstore.com.
Quite a fun way to go about learning something either with your kids or siblings. But who says it’s only meant to teach kids and improve their attention time span. It would be a good way to taste our memory too. They say we get rusty with age, however i believe that the things which strike us most when we were young, tends to stick on us till a ripe old age. At least that is what I would like to believe. Hehe it would be a fun trip down memory lane too. So tell me what is your favourite Disney movie? List down 5 of your favourite movies below and see whether we have the same taste :) Post?slot_id=21136&url=http%3a%2f%2fsocialspark
Every once in a while, Nuffnang will put up something new on their website to show what is either the latest, events, or some latest contest or new product that is out in the market. Right now on the main webpage on will notice the Quantam Solace banner on the top right corner and the Happy-O-Meter still running. Visiting Nuffnang today, I came across a new little heading that caught my attention. On my dashboard panel I saw this “Check Out The New CQ City”. Being curious I went ahead to click on it to see what was this grey heading about. It brought me to this website.

I’ve mentioned before that I like the HP brand, and I honestly do like their compaqs (even if they are a little bit pricey). But HP is reworking their price issues, and are giving out affordable laptops for those who need to use pc on a regular basis. Sturdy, sleek, with a good range of monitor sizes plus features that are just enough to ge one’s work done.  So here on their website they showcase for types of situtations one would use a notebook. The Compaq for play, Compaq for work and the Compaq for School. Each time you click on any of those headings, it will bring you to a page that allows you to play a little game.

compaq

Above, is the game where you under a timer, and the computer will play notes for you which you have to quickly memorise and then play it back. Easy but you cannot take your eyes of the keys when the computer is showing them to you. The games are simple enough and it will get you a bit addicted because if you can’t get it on the first go you will keep trying till you do..(ahemm.. not me).

compaq4

In every game, you will get rewarded. And it’s small, but they will give you the access to download the cool, Compaq desktop wallpapers. You can also download some other stuff on their website like icons and what not.

compaq2

The site was cool enough to kill my boredom, and you can’t help but like the music in the background. A bit childish, as it plays tunes like it would in a nursery school. Entertaining though, which will make your head bob from side to side. Yeha my head did do that. Ahh now i know what it reminds me off.. it tune reminds me of soundtracks like that from Big Fish or even Pushing Daisies. The almost surreal kinda of music. Give the site a check out :)
