Oooooh I’m sure some of you have already heard the rising star Miss Colbie Caillat is coming down here! Her fan base is apparently huge here and is that any wonder. I want to go see her!! Colbie Caillat

SINGER/songwriter Colbie Caillat, 23, known for her soothing and soulful vocals, will be in Petaling Jaya from March 13-16 to promote her album Coco, which spawned the hit single Bubbly.

The highlight of her visit is a special showcase on March 14 at the Curve (8pm).

Brought to you by Universal Music, Channel X and Hitz.FM, the Colbie Caillat “Bubbly” Showcase will also include an autograph session.

California-born Colbie’s father Ken produced Fleetwood Mac’s albums such as Rumours and Tusk.

Naturally, she grew up being surrounded by good music and great musicians including Mick Fleetwood and John McVie from the group.

Noted for her profile on social networking site MySpace, on which Bubbly was first featured, the popularity of her page led her to become the No. 1 unsigned singer in her genre for four months.

Consequently, her profile garnered more than 31 million hits. For the week of July 17, last year, Bubbly was featured on iTunes Store as the free Single of the Week. The promotion coincided with the release of Coco, her debut studio album.

Fans who want to catch Colbie at the show are required to buy her album Coco from any record store nationwide. This will entitle them to a pair of tickets each.
