… Following the story from Singapore Mad Dash Part 1 Getting there took about half an hour and thankfully no jam. I was hanging about at the Chorus hotel lounge to get my free coffee which came with the Aeroline ticket and grabbed meself a hotdog bun too, since I had zilch to eat that day. And was more worried about getting my documents right, my piano score right and getting my voice/head used to the lyrics for the audition the next day. Before I go on, i have to say the Cab Comfort line is so cool! All i need to do if i need transport is just call the cab line 65521111. They actually remember where was the last stop off and the usual place you always get picked up from. Omg! So cool! It was so ‘comforting’ to hear “Press 1 for Mount Emily” or “Press 2 to be picked up in front of 84, Coronation Road”. I wish for the day that Malaysia has a cab system like that. Now on to the story. Warning image heavy here, so please patience. ^_^ img_7846 So on to find my way to 33 Kerbau Road, which I hadn’t realised was now called KK = Kendang Kerbau. That probably explained why went I said Kerbau Road to the taxi driver he was like huh? See that purple line connecting the dots? Those are some sorta pit stops on the gps. Very useful! img_7847_0 Here we are on Kerbau Road. This is just opposite the Little India MRT. I was trying to find where was the Wild Rice audition. I think I walked around that area a good number of times just to find the place.

padsI nearly wanted to buy this one with Erin. We were going to split it and then we decided… nope… save money :)packthis Erin and I had headed to Wisma Atria and over there at TopShop there was this section that sold these really really cool notepads. shorts Yess she really wanted those shorts.. we spent a while in I tihnk MNG just for her to decide whether she wanted them. Very glad to say she didn’t cave :P img_7888 Decoders is a small cafe in Balmaral Plaza (did i spell that right) and over there they had tons of game! Board games! They just didn’t have Cranium though which would’ve been fun to play with so many people. However I got to learn three new games that night. img_7848 So after the audition which i will tell about later. Erin and I met up with the Singapore Bloggers, which was soo much fun! It just so happened that it was really good timing that SPI was having a meet and Valerie mentioned it to me a while back hehe. So cool! img_7850

First one was this weird up game where you have to place little man on this plastic tower that looked like the tower of pisa and make sure that it does not topple.

img_7851

The next one was the craziest and nosiest game I have ever played. Called Jurassic Jumble. There were 7 of us playing and we were each given 9 cards. The nine cards had to be either the same dino or the same colour. So the only way to get cards that are the same (cause you obviously have all different cards) is barter trade with others. If say i want to trade two then another person will have to agree to trade two cards with me. SO it was a mad round of TWO TWO TWO TWO TWO…. THREE THREE THREE THREE …. ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE…. and etc. Hahahha like Pasar Malam.img_7852

Then once you get all the nine cards quickly grab a bone off the table. There were only 6 bones and with 7 of us that meant one person won’t get it. Heeee….. James :P

img_7856

I managed to get all the same and GRABBED a bone!!

img_7857

The other game we played was Cahoots which I call the shorter and faster version of Cranium. You have four types of categories, Sound off, Second Hand, Tongue Tied and . Two groups and you have a dice that will show all the four categories and one more that will let the other team pick a category for you.img_7868 The last game we played was Squibble. You have a bunch of cards with odd shapes on them and you are suppose to create whatever the word that is stated on the word card given to you. and whoever that guesses it gets points. img_7870 Those are all the shapes. E.g. say i get 1) dog 2) lampshade 3) crying girl. If i pick 1 then i have to create a dog with the cards and if someone guesses correctly that person and i gets a point each. If i had picked 2 it would’ve been two points each.img_7871

BTW as much as the place was fun, I really was not jumping for joy by the food. Really….

img_7872

I have no idea how someone thought this was a DOG!!!?? Hahaha

img_7854

Me and part of the group. L-R : James, Hwei Yuen, Nadia, Glenn, Erin , Me and Wendy.

img_7876

Erin and I with NS boy, Ji Ren who is probably the sweetest person I have ever met.

img_7879

Nadia and Me. Once again this lil girl is so adorable.

img_78901

Erin, Me and Sher. Sher is so funky and she had me blushing when i walked in. Actually they all had me blushing :P Since I had never met a number of them before, it was really funny to introduce myself and when you state which blog you are, everyone goes.. “Oooooooooo”.. Hahah so cute. img_7883 The gathering was an all in one event. Blogger meet, together with celebrating mother’s days for the mommies and singing happy birthday for that adorable babe there. img_7892

We went crusing around Singapore for a bit, because we originally wanted to see Harold and Kumar. Which in the end we didn’t see…twice that day! Can you believe it. All the tickets – first one we check was at 3.30pm and the other at 11.45pm were all sold out.. SOLD OUT! For Harold and Kumar, was it really that good? Erin and Ji Ren couldn’t believe it. I was… on the fence, since the movie really didn’t ring a bell to me. But after all that, now I really do want to watch Harold and Kumar.

img_7893

It was my first time sitting in a convertible and my hair was an absolute mess after that. Not to mention the fringe was not helping at all!

img_7901

Since we had no movie… next best thing. Ice cream!!

img_7899

Yeah I had a big craving for bubble tea, you know the one with the pearls. And i found an ice cream with pearls! Aghhhhhh i want another one.
