Reading the lyrics of this song, i can’t help but feel it sounds almost like a psalm. It’s a cry to our Father in heaven, and I join in on this ‘prayer’. We can all read this song differently. But ultimately the one thing I think that can be agreed upon is that we calling out to God for help here on this side of heaven. The request for His Grace, even more so to persevere in our hard times.
As humans we can be so foolish, proud and stubborn in thinking that we can just settle everything ourselves. The troubles we go through, the suffering that the world has. No.. we can never do anything on our own. Cause nothing is within our control…
