My Love – Royce Chocolate

Food, Just Me 12 April 2009 | Comments

Last week, I had to make a trip to go and buy at least four boxes of chocolate from Isetan. See Mister G’s mom, Aunty Rayean -  is a florist and all her creations are beautiful, I’d recommend her for anyone who wants to get a bouquet of flowers – needed it for one of her clients, who made a specific request to send flowers with these chocolates that can only be bought in Isetan. Now I had no idea what chocolates these were, till that day. They were Royce Chocolates!

I wanna thank The Lord for a thing called Maxis 3G and blogs who blog about food. For if it weren’t for Suanie who mentioned it on her blog. i think I would’ve gone hunting for these chocolates all over the place.

Ok I’ve maybe passed the store a couple of times when I was at the supermarket level in KLCC but it never really caught my attention. All the more I shouldn’t be buying chocolates.

However while picking out the chocolates that Aunty Rayean needed, I decided to give the chocs a try as well. They were absolutely heavenly.

This is the one i tried which are shaped in little cubes. royce_05

Truffles delight.

There are either chocs with liqueur or non at all. When you po p them into your mouth, it’s pure ecstasy! The chocolate is not to hard where you have to chew or anything. Instead the texture is just right, where it melts onto your tongue. The liqueur in it is very mild so don’t worry your head on getting high. lol.

I managed to take a few more shots of the other chocolate delighties they had there. OooOOOOH wHeeeeee. I love choc!

Meaning of course in the end, other than buying for Aunty Rayean. I ended buying a box as well for myself to eat. Hohohohoho. Here is my very own Grand Marnier Royce Chocolates. I got these for about RM39. Ok la, a bit pricey but worth every bite!

Ahhh my very own Royce chocolate! Here’s what I enjoy the most about opening things wrapped. You get this very kiddish feeling inside, cause you look forward to the item inside the wrapping. With Royce chocolate, I found out that you need to keep the chocolates at 15 degrees celcius or lower. Reason being that these babies melt really easily, hence the wonderful taste in your mouth.

The chocolates were wrapped with an impressive heat insulator and inside that they had placed an ice pack on top. To ensure that the condition of the sweet heavenly chocs were in perfect condition.

After unwrapping everything you will be delighted of the sight of the goodies inside. Check it out, they provide a knife for you!

Ahhhhhh blissssssss ~~~~~~~~~~!!!! See me swoon with my chocs! Think of it like a bar of chocolate, just that everything has been cut up for you. Sprinkled with choco powder on top.
