It’s the second day of Chinese New Year and I only managed to post something now cause I’ve been busy at the RedFM. But that didn’t stop me from spending some quality time with the family. This hasn’t been a typical CNY for me for 3 reasons.

1. I’m working (but I don’t mind it actually)
2. There wasn’t any massive reunion in the house
3. Not enough ANG PAU!!! >.< But I digress on the last point cause that’s really not what it should be about. When my brother tells me of his friends receiving rm1000 in one day.. I’m like.. my gosh how many houses did he visit.. when in actual fact that 1k was just from the friends parents. Like.. wahuuutt?? Rich kid basically..  Once again it isn’t about the cash lol.. although it’s nice for extra pocket money.. it’s about family time. Catching up with relatives and seeing your new nieces and nephews.

Anyway this was the cooking storm in the house. ^_^

Yummers! Especially the roast chicken best thing ever! And in truth while I lacked the sleep.. I was having lots of fun at the station.. and I just had to dress up a lil for the occasion so that I could be in the mood over the radio waves.. I hope it came off that way. That was my first time going on air on the weekday.. phew.

My mom was such a kill joy.. I wore some japanesey (ok la I didn’t have anything else that look chinesey) top and did the two char siew paus (two buns) on my head. The conversation was like so..

Me: Mama.. cute or not?? ^_________^
Mom: No ones going to actually see you you know..
Me:……. I know… but I SYOK myself la!! (that just means for my own satisfaction in KL slang lol)

The headphones covered the two buns on my head! >.<

Anyway guys! Here’s wishing you all Gong Hei Fatttt Choy!!

I hope this year is everything you want it to be, make it to be and will it to be! Blessed Chinese New Year!

A day like this doesn’t always happen. A day that all Chinese people will celebrate and also a day that young couples, old couples and wannabe couples will proclaim their “love” to one another.

Yeap this 14th February. We will all be celebrating Chinese New Year collecting lots of ang pows and we will be using up those ang pows later in the day to pamper our chosen person for Valentine’s Day.

Before the day ends, I just want to wish everyone.

Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentine’s Day!
