I’m still a cupcake monster.
A while back I had flipped through this new magazine in town called Timeout KL. I must tell you this magazine is just filled with content and one of the articles that caught my attention was entitled “Cupcake Trend”.. or something like that. Anyway the only place i knew in KLCC that sold cupcakes was . I didn’t know that the Secret Recipe had been replaced by a new cafe called The Lawn. Sorry don’t have a pic of the place.. but I do have a pic of what was served at my table 
After ordering, we are given a table number, which I think has got to be the cutest table number I’ve seen in a long time. A number seven popping out of a pot!

This is some lemon vanilla cupcake. It looks real pretty eh? ^_^
Ah here’s the oreo cupcake. Not too bad.. been a while since I had oreo.
Overall the cupcakes are alright nothing that great, but just had to give the place a try out. I find that the cream was a tad too much and for the price of RM5 per cupcake, I’d rather buy one from which cost less and has a bigger serving.
After that we then headed to The Apartment. Yeah we still had a bit of a craving… or rather my sister wanted to just see if there was anything new.
Nothing new in terms of cupcakes there, just a new look.. it’s still a chocolate chip cupcake.
This however is what I want to drool about. This wonderful piece of Red Velvet cake just made me shoot to pastry heaven. Sigh… I’m not much of a sweet tooth, but a cake like this was tooo good. I bugged Nessa to go and learn how to make it. The icing was just delish!! Sighh… drool drool

After buying a cupcake… I purposely buy it so I can stare at how pretty it looks. But the other, i met up with a friend to go cupcake hunting. The first place i went to for cupcakes was The Apartment which some might remember my extreme fetishness of how lovely they look. On Friday we tried CupCake Chic located at the Curve, you will see it just before you head on down to the carpark area, next to Secret Recipe.
They were each at RM4.50. Not too bad a price for something at tea time and to keep you full for a bit.
This is a chocolate on chocolate version called On Cloud Nine. It was nice, but i found it to rich. Plus the marshmallows gave it a cute look, but boy was i guilty after that.
Othello was a better mix with Chocolate as the cake and Vanilla as the Icing. That is one thick amount of icing 
After two horrendous months of pure craving torture I FINALLY managed to eat my cupcake! Or at least some sort of cupcake. I’ve been really dying for one, ever since I saw cuppacakes in the McCann fridge. GOsh you won’t believe how much I have been dreaming of a cupcake. A nice pretty looking cupcake.
Yesterday i had gone to meet up with another friend at the Curve regarding another script and we went to the apartment to have our little chit chat. THAT’S when I managed to get a good look at the cupcakes!! heheh
