I’m sure that some of you would’ve seen on the Nuffnang community called Innit, there was a horde of posts called “Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang”. Hehehe This is very true and it’s so cool!! It all began with us going for the movie “Definitely, Maybe” and this is the result after all 17 of us met up to watch the movie. A very serious case of advertising for not just the movie but our overall event! You of all the viral marketings out there. I want to say that this is probably a first that i’ve been really really involved with one. I’m proud to say that what those big companies always talking about trying to penetrate some community. This is how its done peeps!! No viral marketing can work without some offline planning which is what this picture shows. Take a look at that man.

The longest thread ever!!!! We have like 500 over emails in the span of just 5 days. And a new thing we found out, everytime gmail hits 100 for a thread, it automatically generates another email thread for the email group. A sneak peak at what transpired here. Click to view a bigger picture.

Just take a look how the sequence of the Innit Top 10 posts of the day slowly changed to only “Definitely, Maybe” posts. Last night I took a shot of it. And Hwei Ming managed to hit the roof with it first.

The only post that was not with “Definitely Maybe” title was Pink Pau’s. Which soon according to the rest became top 10. Wooohoooo

They Are Always Updating :)

I love the fact that Nuffnang is always updating and they do it in the subtle ways. The previous upgrade which was a trial run was how many times people had clicked on your link to go to your site. Which you can read . And they are still going at it ^_^. Boys and girls there at Nuffnang don’t let this just be a test run, cause I like neat surprises like this. You how when you search for a particular tag on innit, a bunch of posts will pop up. You can also view previous post under that tag, but you would have to keep on clicking the ‘previous post’ button, located way at the bottom. Rather annoying and also it didn’t go very far, after the third click of ‘previous post’ it’ll suddenly stop showing you the previous post and back to the latest posts. Now they have buttons at the top, allowing you to go to whichever page. Like so. [singlepic=16,320,,,] Nice touch guys!! Keep on with the pleasant surprises ^_^

How Many Views Today?

I’m sure some of you have already seen this. Which maybe could’ve been the cause of the error earlier on. The implementation of another new feature on Innit ^_^

That said. I’m loving it…It’s a nice new touch to Innit other than the whole Nanging, Danging and viewing who on the community is looking at your blog. Now you can also view how many times your post has been viewed but without getting Nanged ^_P

Ohm plus you get to see the link for the innit post which is great. Cause I know some of my links might have broken off so at least this way I can always refer and replace back the link on my side to make sure people get directed. That’s also of course if people bother to look at it in the first place ^_^

Innit Function Error

Going through the morning, and decided to do some random inniting. Did any of you guys see this? Nuffnang people heads up on this. When I clicked on the tags on the sidebar, seems that we got this error. Seems to be something happening there on the php or probably something that clashes. Think it should be rectified soon though.

Really it is personified.

Ever since Nuffnang came out with their new search section the “Tag Cloud” A few weeks back, our fellow blogger, King Shorty = David (yes my lord, a back to back pimpin ), came up with a brilliant way to market himself by typing in his name every single time he posted a post on Innit. Very smart dude. Needless to say he had two minions following along Myself and Miss Song Song = Pamsong. Put it this way. It’s a smart way of elevating oneself in the blogging dome… So i won’t be surprised at all if people start doing it too hehe. But for now, I’ll just say that us narcissistic and egoistic freaks of nature, have gone on the tagging thyself band wagon.

Kicked out of Glitterati

This time I really have been removed from Glitterati. This was what I saw a few hours ago.

Sigh… this was the reasoning..

” Dear Linora, I’ve checked through your blog, Aronil.com (the rest seem dandy). I’m not sure if the unit displaying ‘trendspike.com‘ is an ad unit and if yes, by which company. However, I suspect that the issue could be with the ad unit displaying “Education UK”. My reasoning is that its displaying something related to Malaysians, which means it could be based in Malaysia/S.E.A. Do try removing it for several days(next Friday should be safe) and see if your status gets reinstated. Nuffnang”

Put it this way, after hearing that, I removed the banner immediately. But this quite odd.. because anything to do with Google Adsense, isn’t actually linked with me putting up an ad service from another ad provider. Hmm oh well.. removing it for the time being now. So let’s see, first downtime problem on aronil.com, followed by expired domain on aronil.com, and the loading problem on aronil.com and finally aronil.com is no longer on gold glitterati status.. sigh.. what else could go wrong. Kill me now
