Here’s the thing, i’m not a huge foodie person, for very weight related reasons. But i always do enjoy a good meal whenever i manage the time to chill out with friends. It was a pleasure and a wonderful lunch outing with a friend of mine, Farrell. He has been consistently raving about this new Italian Restaurant situated along Jalan Ampang. Very close to Glen Eages and Great Eastern Mall. if you’ve noticed this white building that just sprouted from no where with big words stating “Nihonkan” and a big Papa Rich sign – then yes that’s the building i’m talking about. ^_^

That is also the home of Spasso Milano! Which currently at the moment has a fantastic promotion running for their lunch period. Scroll on down to see the promo!

Below Spasso Milano is Papa Rich, for those who want dishes that are closer to our local taste buds.

Let’s now talk about Spasso Milano and the great food. Spasso Milano is contemporary Italian restaurant which offers cuisine which represents the gambit of all things Italian. Simplicity and understated elegance is the only way to describe the environment. Designed with the busy business professional in mind, as well as the family, and everything in-between, Spasso provides for different levels of relaxed dining. With a separate bar, outdoor veranda, poolside area and formal dining room, Spasso offers an opportunity for everyone to sit back and enjoy the gastronomic sensations prepared by Chef Felice. Nothing represents the Italian lifestyle quite the way Spasso Milano does.

So here’s the promo i was talking about. For just the buffet you only need to pay RM18. But if you want you just top up a lil bit more and for RM21 you get the Buffet AND a main course! i was soooo spoilt! image

Here’s the Lunch Main course menu.

image The setup is very cozy and classy, with minimalist designs all around you. White and all things simple. The contrast of colours i would like to think comes from the medium range of food they have for lunch/brunch.

Here are some shots of what was available at the buffet area.

and here’s  a shot of the exterior of the building. just as you enter from the side entrance to Papa Rich. No you aren’t allowed to jump in. But i can imagine it would be very nice for a simple party or gathering by the bar. ^_^

A very worthwhile buffet if I do say so myself. :) Go check it out and try it while the promotion is still on!

This is a late post. After a long drama period of the other day’s Valentine on blogs and in the physical world. The day turned out quite nicely in the end. And would you like to see what made me so wonderfully happy? No I didn’t get anything in particular but let me walk through what happened. Simplicity is always best, and we went just for dinner at “The Apartment” at the KLCC branch. It wasn’t too crowded too, so good thing – considering we went for dinner at what 9 pm plus. Anyway I love how they had done up the whole place, it was very vintage and cozy. The Apartment is actually opened up by the same people who opened the “The Laundry” at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara Before all that though see what I got for Mister G. http://picasaweb.google.com/Aronil/ValentineDay2008AtTheApartment
