Pray for Japan

I have to blog about this. I was going about doing my stuff today and when i opened up my twitter, i was greated with tons of tweets talking about the disaster than has just struck Japan. First there was a massive earthquake of 8.9 which is the worse earthquake since 1900. After that it caused a tsunami to hit Japan and i just saw a huge whirlpool that threatened a boat. I’m just lost for words, reading about it and watching the news is just crazy. It’s so crazy! Cars are being pushed, padi fields are destroyed, boats are even coming on to the land and are at the same level as bridge, houses are dragged with the waters that are flowing on to the land….

What’s happening to our earth? We are literally watching people in danger and they have no chance to evacuate in time… what i heard last is that 300 people have already died. I have to say i give so much of credit to those covering the news. I don’t know how they can keep their composure, when you see so much chaos around them. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been greatly affected. To those lives that couldn’t be saved in time. To the families that are now mourning or worries about their relatives. Dear Father in heaven, please have mercy, watch over them and ease the troubled hearts.

Do you know what it’s like to feel hungry? Of course you do and naturally you will head on down to the fridge in a comfy home pop it open to get a snack. That settles hungry. But what about extreme hunger? Do you know what it’s like to not eat at all for a whole day? And I’m not talking about fasting which allows you to settle your tummy either in the morning or at night. I’m talking about where you far from the grasps of food. You are not able to find any and worse still you can’t touch any.

Those of us like you and me, who are more fortunate can make a difference for those people who do not have enough in their pockets to feed not only themselves but their children.
