iPad Overly Hyped and A Mockery

Interesting things that happened since the launch of the iPad from this morning. Firstly I was looking on my tweetdeck. Let’s just say at that point in time, there were tons of people tweeting and updating their statuses on Facebook as Steve Jobs revealed the iPad. Shortly after though, there were also comment on how it is over hyped and over priced.

I’m all for Apple products because it really knows how to place itself in the market. Good technology and good branding means good sales. However I wonder what Apple was thinking when he named it the iPad? I mean in our asian culture parents always make it a point to usually name their child with something that is not easy to make fun of.

A name like the iPad? I personally preferred it when it was named the iTablet.

So much so that i found this video on youtub. A little mockery of the iPad. Have a good laugh hehe :P

7 Things Guys Don’t Have To Do

I’m a fan of Miley Cyrus and I do enjoy her cutesy wutesy song ’7 things’. While browsing on Youtube today I found this parody of the song uploaded, directed, edited and sung by this Youtuber called Venetian Princess. Her real name is Jodie Rivera. Most of her videos are parodies of a number of music videos. She does have a couple of her own songs and music videos though.  She’s terribly pretty (that’s a good thing not a bad thing :P ) and her lyrics have some great humour to it.  This song is just cute. Not poignant or anything just cute. Since it talks about the 7 things –  or rather more than 7 things – that guys don’t have to do, but girls do them. All because we wanna look good for the men. lol. Typical.  Here are the lyics to the Miley Cyrus – 7 Thing – Parody.  7 things that guys don’t have to do! ouch! ouch! Its time for me to say this; addressing all you guys. Except for all you Drag Queens who deserve a nobel prize But the straight guys, they don’t realize what we go through Everyday; and its alot. So don’t complain next time! Hmph :P What I also love about this youtuber is that she gives credit where it needs to go. For all the people that helped her make the video. and of course after parodying a video, she will encourage viewers to go to the real artists website/page whatever.  This young lady from Vietname is now busy recording her first album and one of her songs entitled ‘Somewhere Else’ is currently ‘the’ song on Samsung Behold cellphones.  Go check out her official site here at VPrincess.

Take A Bow Rewritten

It’s been a while since I surfed on youtube, just to check out what new stuff has been going on in the video realm. But since I uploaded my Wade Robson videos i’ve been constantly checking out youtube. See my youtube account has been banned a couple of times, now.. for  reasons I shall not mention. Hence all the people I had subscribed to have been erased. Meaning I’ve got to go around searching for these ‘directors’, comedians and whoever and subscribe all over again.  If you don’t want to read my babble.. just go straight to video below. :) One of the people I enjoyed watching a lot then in my spare time last year was HappySlip. I did write about her once too in this blog post -… ok neverming.. seems that blog post is gone.. must’ve disappeared when I had some trouble bringing over my blog to the new webhost.  Anyway I did mention her before. She is a wonderfully talented, lovely comedian, who is seriously making herself known all over the workd now. Simply because she loves to make people smile. Well she made me smile again this afternoon.  You know that song by Rihanna “Take a Bow”? Ok no disrespect to Rihanna, but I have always found that while I like her tunes, I don’t exactly like her lyrics. She’s got talent yes, unique voice check but I just can’t stand the messages that comes out of her songs. Her tunes are lovely but then when you get to the words (which is like a major part of a song other than the melody) it’s like….. nggyyyeeekk?  Just like her other song “Unfaithful”. Yeah ok maybe some people do go through what she sings. But… just not my cup of tea, even if the music is nice. Here she sings about why she doesn’t want to be unfaithful anymore because it’s killing her man. Like a duh!!! Of course it’ll hurt the other and of course one should feel guilty.  Sidetracking a bit. Just listening to the original song and Happyslip’s verison.  And for enthusiasts… these are the lyrics. Since I couldn’t find a title to it. I’ll just call it this

I’d wanna play this for Mister G :P .  I think I’ve heard enough of the moody thoughts on how relationships have no hope and how it’s all about the break up. Aren’t there enough breka ups as it is in the world. Listening to this, was something fresh and hopefully it’ll be fresh for you guys too.  Speaking of relationships and fresh things. Kids Say The Darndest Things Part 1

I was just going around hoping about on Youtube and I found this video, of this young kid who tells his mom that if she wants him to love her well you gotta give him a lil sumthin… It’s just so cute. Since when do kids speak that well at that age???? Ok I haven’t seen a kid in our country yet that speaks and articulates him/herself as well as some of the babies I’ve just seen on Youtube. Wow adorable! Kid’s really say the darndest things lol. I think I am going to start one particular series which I’m going to entitle in my categories as Kids Yapplings which will be a compilation of all the funny stuff i see on babies or young ones close to that age.  So here is Post number one :)
